Is there anyway that I can purchase a Transmission Module Control Unit for a 2002 CLK 55 AMG without purchasing it from the dealership even though it has to be coded?
Welcome to the forum
To find your section please click forums top left, or complete forum listing on the right, and scroll down to
(the W210 coupe = CLK was Mercedes internally chassis W208 I believe, the specs for W210 E55 are the same)
W210 E50 AMG, E55 AMG
1995-2002 : AMG E50, AMG E55 Your thread has already been copied there.

Its a good idea to include the mod and year (2002 CLK55) of your car visible to everyone reading your posts (similar to my profile next to this), it helps generate responses.
Members wanting to give correct advice are not likely to search through an entire thread for your posts mentioning the engine / mod of your car.

To take advantage of all available forum features / find your way around the forum, edit your profile, search archives, and much more,

Cheers

The Transmission module control unit does not need to be coded had the same issue and got mine out of another clk 55 and thankfully it fixed my limp mode issue plug and play !! I’m guessing that’s a common issue so pulling it from a junked car is pretty risky .
