I've detected the location of my on-going transmission leak... (half a cup every three weeks if the car is garaged).
Do you think there is an "easy fix". I've done recently a transmission fluid / filter change... All the rest is fine.

I'm just fed up to leave stuff behind be in my garage...

should not cost much at all we've had many transmissions fixed for leaks and never a big repair... $250-$400.
Even cheaper if the transmission is out of the car. Make sure you replace the front pump seal while you have it out.

I think the picture of the one that is out is to show where the leak is coming from on his car.

Yes,
When the all engine was overhauled, the transmission seals where also changed... That s why I was surprise to get this issue now... So I understand there is no quick fix (ie bolt to tighten.): drain all the fluid, change this seal (by the way I have no clue where to find it... It seems that transmission seals come as a full kit not by the unit)...
