Hey there everyone I have a crazy question about the transmission fluid.

If you are doing a filter change do you have to use MB transmission fluid or can you use something different. If you can use something different what are you suppose to use.

I have noticed that the MB transmission fluid is very pricey.

MB transmission fluid is made to Dexron IIC specifications. Any quality brand Dexron II/III is acceptable.
If you want the same thing as MB fluid, get Febi ATF from Auto Parts at AutohausAZ - OEM Auto Parts - Discount Replacement Parts, Resources and Car Care Tips.
