Wrong side. I said passenger side. People get confused where right and left is as it changes where you look at it from.

You can read the Transmission codes (more detailed than pre-facelift models) translated to MB specific P2------ codes, but you cannot reset them. You need to access the 38 pin connector for reset. (the one in the above picture, with a proper scanner).
Where is the Transmission Control Module - TCM - located on E320?
thanks for the help, i appreciate it

On my 2001 W210 I had all sorts of problems.
My Indi told me to get a Conductor Plate after I told him my problems. (Limp etc)
He never even looked at the car.
This plate has speed sensors that get damaged.
Conductor Plate Electronics Pack 140-270-11-61.
New Mercedes 722.6 5-Speed Automatic Transmission Conductor Plate+Connector KIT | eBay.
YOUR'S MIGHT BE DIFFERENT. Check the number.
He dropped the pan, the valve body and installed the Plate.
Fixed my problems.
Just a thought.

Glad you have it resolved.

Your update is greatly appreciated! It will help others with the same problem searching in the future. Lots of time, people will ask for help on this Forum and not post a conclusion to their problem.

Oh.......forgot to mention that you should check connector like once a month for fluid wicking back down from the harness.

Just clean with electrical contact cleaner if it does. Takes about three months for it to stop, depending on how much wicked up.
