I have a 2004 ML350 that has been diagnosed with a faulty connector that runs up to the trans control module. My vehicles symptom was a no start on hot days above 92F. Turns out that either one or two of the orings on the trans connector is damaged, fluid leak and wicks up cable, into the control module. Fluid in module heats up and interferes with firing. Connector needs replacing.
I purchased the connector and know where its located.
I'm looking for a link to a site that has details on the replacement. Removing shield, connector. Draining trans fluid that will leak etc.
Again, all responses are welcome.
