Transmission and rear diff. fluid??

What is the correct transmission fluid? Can I just use any over-the-counter Dextron II/Mercon IV fluid? What about synthetics? Mobil 1? What about replacement intervals?

Is it the same for the rear differential? Is any synthetic OTC 75W-90 OK to use?

Doesn't it say anything in the service/owner's manual???

I have the owner's manual, but it doesn't say anthing. Weird how they have instructions on how to aim the headlights, but then don't list either the motor oil viscosity or other lubricant requirements. Has nobody on the board had theirs replaced???
