Hello guys I just purchase a nice W203 Sport Coupe with the semiautomatic Sequentronic transmision. I changed the transmision pump (+fuse) before 2-3 weeks, because I was geting an error about lower pressure in transmision and car was failing to shift gears (+ TRANSMISON VISIT WORKSHOP sign was coming up).

The problem is when I shift gear N->1->2->3 etc. in low rps I can hear a sound like the gears are engaging or more accurate a clunk noise. When I shift at 3500 or more the shift is more smoothly. I ask at MB service and told me that this is a common with those transmisions and it sounds normal to him. After that answer I was start to thinking about diferential, U joints and those kind of stuffs after transmision.

What you think guys anybody experiece any problem like that before?

I do sometimes get a clunk when going from P to R and into D when parking on a hill but other than that my gears change without any noise at all engine speeds, other than that of the revs changing. If it's quite loud then it doesn't seem normal for a luxury car.....

Actually it doesn't happend all the time. It's not so loud but I can hear it with A/C off and radio muted.
