Changed the trans fluid and filter today, not as bad as I thought. After 82k miles it was pretty dirty!

Only tools I bought where a Raytek thermal scope and a MB factory issue fluid level check tool. They could'nt source the Fastlane part # I grabbed from the forum.

Saturday is the KONI install!

Good stuff.
Trans can be done at normal op temp, heat gun helps though.

With Konis a couple of points
1. Reuse original top boots and bump stops.
2. Run a clearance drill thru top pin hole so it doesnt touch during extension as it twists in to centre lineetc
3. Mount bottom pins loose until weight on suspension so bushes dont get torn.
4. Adj initially one full turn anti clockwise and go from there.
