Had Michelin Pilots originally - GREAT tire EXPENSIVE tire. Replaced with Goodyear F1's good looking tirel - but VERY loud and very "blocky" handling. Replaced early because of the noise, and put Falken Fk452's on - happy customer now. Good wear so far, nice look, and good price, also - very little noise.

PS - I have Generals on my M3 - very nice tires as well.
I was right there with you on the Goodyear F1 GSD3's. I couldn't wait to get rid of those. Bredgestone RE050's are awesome. I can't say that I would recommend any Nitto tires due to a bad experience and I don't have any experience with Toyo's so I can't recommend those either. Michelin/BF Goodrich tires have always done well for me.

I put the Falken 452's on after reading numerous posts about how "good" they were. They are nice, but I really preferred my Riken Raptors over the Falkens. The Falkens have been less tempermental than my Raptors, But the Raptors just out-performed them (driving-wise) hands down. I will definately get more life out of the Falkens though. So, if you are an aggressive driver, get the Raptors. If longevity and a comfortable ride are more important, get the Falkens. The Raptors are rock solid and hyper aggressive looking. The falkens are a bit "spongey" in the corners no matter what PSI i use. Another important thing people forget to consider is this: Is your car used as a family car or is it your personal hot-rod? Mine plays a dual role with an emphasis on Hot-rod. About a 60%-40% split. So I prefer the more aggressive better handling as opposed to longer-life, smoother ride.If you want ALL of these great qualities in ONE tire, then you'll have to step up to a tire that costs twice as much as the tires I'm talking about.Good luck!
The Riken Raptors are made by Michelin. If you look at the treads, you will see a very close resembelance to the original Pilot Sport's. The Raptors are the lightest tires I have ever held and probably the absolute best performance bang for the buck tire.
