Hello,

Does anybody know what the towing capacity is for GLA250? I'm thinking of trade-in my ML for GLA250 but cannot find this info. Or the factory towing hitch is available at all? Even though it has a small engine but since it's a turbo with good torque + all wheel drive, I hope it can tow a small camping trailer. My wife and I love this car but towing is the main concern.

Within that article, it claims that the GLA has;
Maximum towing weight 1800kg
Towball limit 70kg

I'm in the US and our sales data doesn't share that information.

Thanks for the info! This is what I was looking for and it's good to know GLA250 is a good towing vehicle.

This info seems to be for European GLA's. I bet the North American GLA has a lower tow rating, yet a higher hitch rating.

The dealer told me 3,800 lbs. However they were unable to order it with a hitch. I will have to add one after-market. I have a teardrop trailer that I intend to tow a few times per year that is well below this weight, so I'm good.
