Does anyone know if the "touch-start" that is on the newer mercedes can be installed on to a 1997 S500?
The thing I am talking about is when you turn the ignition, all you have to do is barely turn it, then let go and the car fully starts.
Also, can the ADS (adaptive damping system) be retrofitted on it?
Thanks in advance.

Touchstart was available to European models on the W140 chassis. Only the S600 coupe and sedan had touch-start and may have had it as early as 97. Either way, it may be an easy retrofit. The ADS suspension is another matter. The cost of the parts and labor would be prohibitive and you'd be better off buying an S500 with ADS already on the car.

: Does anyone know if the "touch-start" that is on the newer mercedes can be installed on to a 1997 S500?
The thing I am talking about is when you turn the ignition, all you have to do is barely turn it, then let go and the car fully starts.
Also, can the ADS (adaptive damping system) be retrofitted on it?
Thanks in advance.

It would be alot cheaper to by an "S" class that already had these options(>2000)
