Do I need both for the best results? Can/should the Torque wrench be used to remove lug nuts or should it only be used for tightening at the end and then again after 50-100 miles of driving?

In my opinion the torque wrench should be used only for tightening the wheels to the proper torque value.I dont recommend using it to remove lug bolts etc.I recommend the breaker bar or another specific type of removal tool to remove the lug bolts.

I agree with Phillip...my boss would cringe if he saw the mechanics in our shop using a torque wrench to remove lugs/etc.Of course it can be used in a pinch but the internal spring doesnt like it too much.Personally I use other methods that I have in my tool box.My torque wrench is very calibrated and I want to keep it that way. Just a mercedes dealership mechanics opinion.
