I just bought items to change over my winter tires myself. I have a separate set of rims & tires for the winters and I thought with a small investment I could save in the long run. I’m a little concerned though what to set the torque wrench to. I recall a guy telling me last year that did it for me to set it to 100 lbs, but I read somewhere else 110 lbs.

I have a 2006 CLK350, the winter tires are on OEM’s as are the lug nuts. The summers coming off are aftermarkets with lock lug nuts. I’m not sure if that matters, but I thought I’d throw it out there just in case it does.

So what is the proper setting?

Thanks,
HB
