wats the fastest you all have gone in the 190?

i have a 84 and reached 115mph.

Although it takes awhile to get there, the real strength of the W201 is that it can cruise at 100+ all day long.

heh...maybe 15 years ago when it had a little more life. plus, mine would be in the red if i tried to take it up to 100. i prefer to cruise at an easy 60/65 mph and let the engine relax.

Have taken my 16v to 250km but not for to long as there is a major lack of decent roads down here and if I got caught I would loose my car from 30 days and pay about 1000 euro!!!! in fines.

i remember reading that the top speed on the 190E 2.6
is 136 mph. i have never taken mine above 115 though,because i don't wanna go to jail. i know the car is capable of doing more then that though. this is where i got the info, good resource page i came across when buying my MB.

ive had mine around 130+ about a thousand times. it takes forever though. its kinda hard to get it past 120 or so anymore

Mine can do 115mph and it doesnt take to long to get there. I rally my car hard all the time and it seems to handle it fine.

I think the max i have gone before running out of track with a bad engine was about 140 ish, maybe a bit less.

I'll get back to this after i rebuild my engine or do a nice swap.
