top speed ripoff

i have a 98 s500 and i able to max it out onthe 5 fwy,butit cutoff at 135 mph, i thought this was a mistake so i tried agian, and it cut off fuel at 135, whats up with that, is it supposed to hit 155. My 2001 s500 only hit 135 , but i konw that is limited. ridiculous how my 85 500 sel is my fastest car, lol
whats up with the new amg cars and almos t 500 hp and being limmited,

135 max

Everyone knows these cars are electronicaly limited to 135 mph. The governments knows whats best, you must obey, you must obey etc............

Most dealers in the UK will de-restrict the car for a fee if you ask them to. In the UK ...

Most dealers in the UK will de-restrict the car for a fee if you ask them to. In the UK they're limited to 155mph, 135 is far too slow. I'm sure some independent in the USA would de-restict it for you as well, if not, a main dealer might even do so. Where's the fun in going 55mph!?
