to lower or not to lower

O.k here's the deal. I just got myself a Silver 2001 C Class 240. (no sport package). I want to get some 18 inch wheels for it (either Brabus M4 or Carlsson - Evo) But I'm not sure about getting sport springs that would make the car 25mm lower since the guys at brabus said I should have the lips of the wheel wells rolled back. This sounds kind of sketchy to me to be doing body work to a brand new car. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments on this issue.
Help?
Lowering has a lot of benefits...

Fender rolling isn't such a big deal. They just flatten the lip anyay. Another option would be to just replace the spring pads as others have done but it's very minimal. 18's would look great but I suggest getting the springs to get that awful gap out.
Carlos
: O.k here's the deal.
