If you want to keep the stock radio, which what I did, you would need a High-low converter (I bought the Boss one - $20) This will convert your high input wires to low output RCA cables. I mounted this behind the right cover of the trunk (driver's side). The high input wires were tapped to the rear speakers. With the RCA outputs, you can now connect this to an external amp which I also mounted beside the high-low converter. I suggest you go with 12" subs since the 10's don't really give that much bass because of the large trunk space.<p>Tell me if you need any more info.<p>Frank

I am going to need some more info on this installation. I have installed headunits and regular speakers, but never had a chance to wire subs and amps.<p>Thanks so much. I am going to go with 2-12 inch subs.<p>Thanks<br>

do you loose your rear speakers by doing this. or can they still be used and do what your talking about (high-low converter). â•?'m very interested in learning how you do this. please give me some more info. thanks
