...come up with an edition of a car that is specially made to drop with big rims so that the ride would still feel like stock. Imagine buying the CLK-L (lowride edition) where with a drop and 19" rims, the ride would feel just like it was stock. That would be great.

Cars are coming stock with 19's and low ride heights...M3, M5, Dodges etc...

But to do that, you have to make bugger wheel wells and fenders....which makes 19's look small...so 20's are the only way to go then. But then you're back to sqaure one with a rough ride. :)

The problem is with the tires... why can't they make 19" tires with more sidewall on them?!??... like 19-45/245 instead of 19-35/245. That way the taller tire would fill up your wheel well and you wouldn't have to drop it, plus the taller tire would give you as much cushion as 17" wheels (a 45 sidewall). You would have to re-calibrate the speedo tho...
