Just bought my first Mercedes, a 16v, and it is outfitted with H&R sport springs and Bilstein sports. Wheels are 17x7.5 ET 37 factory Evo Titanium by Speedline, with 215/40-17 tires.

I am looking to go to a 225, or larger, and was wondering who has success in fitting more tire WITHOUT rubbing, hacking fenders, ect.

I understand the EVO II ran a 17x8.25 ET34, with a larger tire as well.

Any input appreciated!
