Hi, I have a 1998 C280 with 15 inch tires on now, 205/65R/15 on a rim with a 37mm offset. I see alot of customized wheel sets - my question is this: How much of a difference in offset could I accomodate since many of these MB wheels seem interchangeable?
Could I put 16 inch rims with a 255/65R/16 tires and a 41 offset? Bigger rims and more offset? Thanks!

255/65R16 would be way too big for the C-class wheel arches, and too wide for the standard rims. Maybe a 225/55R16 or 235/50R16 tyre would be a better idea on the origial rims, or you could find out what tyres fit on the AMG models and go for a similar setup.
