Gteting ready to put some new tires on the S 404 Transporter. Anyone have a recommendation as to manufacturer? Don't need an aggressive tread as not much offroad use. Mostly just hauling stuff on the blacktop. Thanks!

Ed; My tire guy recommends the Contintental MP 80 radial Tubeless 10 ply which sells in Canada for $382.00 Canadian each. For you southern gentlemen, you can deduct 40% for US prices. It is a combination tire on road, mud and snow etc, nothing really serious for deep mud or crushing gators. Hope that helps . Have a great Thanksgiving. In Canada, we have our Thanksgiving in October before the turkeys freeze to death.

Thank YOU!

Well Doug, I'm not much on turkey, unless it's Wild Turkey from a decanter. I will have somked ham and a baked potato I think. The tires that I'm replacing are FIRESTONE 6-ply, "Ground grip" Type M. Made in Spain.10/10.5-20. Have about 1/4 left. Best wishes for the Holiday Season!
