Well I've had my CLK for about 3 weeks now and today I picked up a staple and it flattened my left rear tire.

I called roadside and the put the spare on and plugged the existing tire.

My question is, how does this effect the handling and safety of the tire? I've plugged tires before on pickup trucks and grocery getters, but Im a bit concerned on a sports car, especially since I really like to corner hard.
I've got a brand new set of Bridgestone PP s02's that I bought for my slk before selling it, but didnt get around to installing them. Im thinking about installing them.
The tires on the car now on Contisports. While these are not great tires, Im a bit reluctant to throw in the towl on these since they only have about 1500 miles on'm
Any thoughts?
