What you need to do here to keep the best possible handling/ride compromise and also to avoid stressing the wrong components is to keep the offset and th overall rolling radius the same.carbongs said:
The standard wheel tyre combo for your car I believe is 235/60R16. Just in case you don't know that means 235mm in the width and an aspect ratio that is 60% of the width. All on a 16" rim and with an offset of 51mm.
On a 20 therefore a 255/35 or 285/30 is the tyre you need. You may have to lower the offset ever so slighty but not by more than about 5mm, this should prevent your car from tramlining or anything else undesirable. Hope that helps.
