Hi everyone,

I am replacing a bad motor in a 1982 300D Turbo and have searched the forum but can't seem to find any detail on any tips for pulling the old motor and installing a replacement.

The replacement came out of a 1984 300D Turbo with 180K. The car had sat for several years in a blackberry patch and lo and behold, put a battery in it and the damned thing cranked to life. Also, before I put the replacement in, what should I replace or inspect?

Your thoughts and experience would be very helpful!
