May be incorrectly programmed. Never happened to me with my Timeport. Take the phone to a Cellular shop and see if they can check it.
Timeport Phone for 2001 ML320
I have a Motorola Timeport phone installed by the Benz dealer when I bought my 2001 ML320,and currently have phone service through verizon. The phone has been displaying Analog no matter what I do.
Is there any phone out there I can upgrade my phone to?

On Verizon dial *228, listen to the instructions, and your phone will be updated to the correct settings for your plan.
