that is very good information that the Isuzu tie rod ends will fit.
I just located another source for G tie rods (and the ends are replaceable!)

The 2 tie rods costs 37euros here in Portugal, they have booth greasing points, Original Mercedes dont have. This change was already tested very hard, I went with a couple of friend for some serious off road action.
can you tell us the parts number of the Isuzu tie rod ends?

Harald
Of course I can tell the part numbers, we are here to help each other keeping these machines alive, I am out of home, I am traveling, When I go bach home, I promiss I will post the brand and part numbers with more pics.
Rocha ,

What steering damper did you use when you fitted the Isuzu Tie rode ?

Reg ,

Shebl .
Shebl,

The mechanic fixed me a W123 damper, off course he did some modifications.

If you know where to buy Isuzu parts in Lebanon please let me know.

Anthonny ,

Glad to see you arround . I haven't done a search yet but when I will i'll surely let you know.

the w123 damper does it affect your steering ?

Reg ,

Shebl .
Hey Shebl,
the W123 damper works well but is certainly more fragile.

The G's still being repaired, the Isuzu tie rods are a good idea ! MB dealer asked 400 bucks for the 2 set !

Regards
