Changed the lower tie rod today. After the installation, I noticed the steering wheel tilting a little to the right while driving.

What did I do wrong? How do I fix it?

Left, right, front, rear? No matter how careful you are it needs alignment after.

Make sure it is a proper alignment as well. Car will feel 100% different with a proper alignment, almost like a new car! Alot of these "el cheapo" alignment places suck and do nothing more then a "string alignment".

I too found this to be the case when my mechanic changed the tie rods on my C280 recently.

This was so even though the mechanic counted the exact measurement in 'teeth/grooves' from the old tie rods and duplicated the same measurement in 'teeth/groves' in installing the new ones.
