Buy it fast before this guy Mercedes Motoring, who will and then resell it for $25 Grand.

To bad Federalzion took the EURO headlights and front bumper.

My 200T has been running trouble free for the past 4 years (summers only) with almost 370,000 kms on the clock.
If you get it just stay away from gas with ethanol added.
I'm getting 25-30 mpg if I take the lead out of my right foot.
Biggest surprise for me is that it is 4 times quicker than my '78 turboless 300CD was 25 years ago.;);)

doesn't sound right. they are all going about 2K or above if it's a wagon here in berkeley (regardless of gas/diesel.) my suspicion meter is raised here but if it's real, i'd say JUMP ON IT!

I think I will jump on it, unless I cant sell the RX7.

I really would want the cloth seats and the other euro accents. Are these easy to swap to a manual? If not, its not really a huge deal.

EDIT: Suppose no one is interested in an RX7 on here lol.

actually we are putting a wankle into our miata lemons race car. we couldn't get it done for the race in two weeks but next year it should be done! so yeah, some people here are interested in rx7s. ;)
That's actually pretty neat. I'd love to get out to LeMons. If you need a rotary and dont have one already, I know someone that would sell me a 13b for $150 that needs a carb.

I think I will make the jump on this 200T if I can sell the RX7.

Wow, I have never seen that site/business till now. I've always thought that'd be a killer business.

So it's either 2 exact same typos in a single ad, something seriously wrong with the car that is not posted, or the seller is batty...Or, it's really that good of a deal?

I hope Josh ponies up and takes the plunge.

What steps were taken or will need to be taken to have it registered in California? That would be my one concern.

Also, the front bumper is US, but the rear is euro.

Also, let us know. I might be interested as well, if don't want to take it of course.

It looks like a great deal, and I'm in the Bay Area for work this week. If it was local to where I live, I'd buy it...but driving a 29 year old wagon with a dodgy transmission across the continent (to the Ottawa area) pushes my sense of adventure a little too hard...

If I were to inquire about this, I would have to wait about 2 weeks when my finals are over (at least until next Tuesday). If it is still available by then, I will consider selling my RX7. I already have someone that might want to buy it from me at my school.

EDIT: Pretty much if anyone wants to jump on it first, go for it. Just post a really cool thread about it with pictures. If it is available later, I will be the thread maker and cool picture taker. :)

That car is probably already gone by now. Deals like that, on a car like that, usually don't hang around long. I've bought some cars that if I was the 2nd one there, it wouldn't have been mine.

The 40k-mile wagon I just got was one of those. First one there gets the car.

It's only 242 kms to Campbellford. I would even deliver my 1985 200T to Ottawa for the price of GreyDoggy bus fare back home.
Only thing is that I need at least $4 Grand [Can] for it.
