I can pick up a 94/95 C220 for 1,500 with 168,000 Kilometers or 105,000 miles. Body seems good starts right up
But the radio has code in the LCD and the SRS light is on and has cloth interior
Has a new battery
Are these car heavy on repairs and cost I want to replace my VW Golf with either this or a 300E
As I need more space. I am currently restoring a 300CE hence why I am looking for a daily driver Benz
Any thought on the C220 would be great

well, the radio saying code just means it wants you to put in the radio code. there is a security code to make sure if someone steals your radio they wont actually be able to use it lol.

as for the srs light... im not sure.

if you just want a daily driver and you think its worth the money id say go for it. any mercedes costs money to fix. as for the reliability i think it just depends on how well the previous owners cared for the car.

Hi
I look up the C220 on this form and think it is not the car for me. I will stick to the 124
I realize all cars need repairs, but after looking at the car again I noticed there was a lot more things wrong with the car. Going to keep my Golf as my daily driver. Drive the 300CE in summer etc
Thanks for the help
