I know that this is a European release. I've been told that this particular SL was made to US standards then shipped to the US. Registered in CA and historically passed all inspection / emission requirements. Thoughts, suggestions?

Oh, I don't know, pics, price, location, history of car, auto/manual etc. Just little details besides filling in your profile after 3yrs might help us help you. :)

I am thinking that you know very little about R107s and I suggest you spend some time, firstly, looking at all the FAQs and stickies.

When you have some specific questions, we have answers.

It was most likely converted upon import. Stories are just that, stories. If it is converted to U.S. standards it lowers the price in my opinion. Big bumpers, bug lights, cats. The list goes on and on.
Location? Price? Pictures?
