Hey everyone,
I've thinking about changing my wheels again. I haven't been able to find much that I like in 18's. All the stuff that catches my eye seems to start at 19.
Anyone done 19's? If so post some pics and put down your wheel and tire details.
Thanks,
Joe

joef, from what I've read, 19's are definitely doable... but you just have to carefully calculate the tire size to make sure that the outer diameter does not increase. You may need to go with narrower tires (i.e., get the "stretched" look) to make sure you don't rub on your inner fenders. The same offset and width rules will apply, regardless if they're 19's...

Now if you want my opinion! :) You're gonna sacrifice a lot of comfort for 19's, and with such low profile tires, your risk of damaging your rims is very high. There will probably even be a decrease in performance. So if you do this, it's 100% for the looks. Nothing wrong with that at all, but IMO you'll be giving up a lot for that extra inch or two. Just my $.02!!!

Ditto on the comfort issue. I put 17s on my 126 and the ride became alot harsher. They run great on smooth roads but on normal surface roads the bumps and imperfections in the road surface are very noticeable now.

I've got 18's now. The 2 concerns I have are how much more of the road am I going to feel? Rubbing? I don't have much now, just a little in the front. I'm going to do a test drive in a car that has 205-35 series rubber on it to see what I feels like.
