Tonight I was backing up the ML and clipped the passenger side mirror. Looks like I just need to replace the inside cover. Do I need to replace the whole thing or does it come in two parts.

Does anyone know how much this cover is? Any help would be appreciated.

I guess that it could in fact have been worse... [:)]

In any case, what do you mean "inside cover"? If you mean the black part, that is one of the expensive parts as far as I know as the mirror comes as a black sceleton (including the triangular base that bolts to the door) to which you add the mirror glass, painted cover, etc.

I guess you correct that it could have been worse. Hope that wasn't your ML. I'm actually referring to the part that folds in and out. The triangle that is connect to the door is not damaged nor is the glass. Just the outside casing.

The triangular base and the folding frame is one piece. Your best bet is probably to buy a replacement mirror off Ebay and then re-use your mirror cover (the painted part) and mirror glass (to get auto-dim if necessary). Just make sure to get a power-foldable one. They are listed fairly frequently - here are two listed now.
