Hi there,
I have a 1979 MB 300TD Wagon. My thermostat housing is corroded and I found a replacement on eBay.
The part number for the housing that is currently on my car is R 617 203 18 73
The part on ebay is slightly different, although the seller is saying it will work on my car - Part number 617 203 1973.
The main difference between his part and mine is that it has additional fittings, seemingly for hoses. perhaps this is for models with a coolant overflow tank, which mine doesn’t have?
Anyway, does anyone know if this part will work on my car?
