sunday im getting married, so of course family is flying in.

which means i had to make a few airport runs....

my father sat in the back seat (6ft2) and was like wow...legroom! he was happy i wasnt driving a old police car because it looked like shit he said lol.
my aunt for 2 days keeps asking me to sell her my car as she cannot beleive the ride quality and comfort, and considering she has a bad leg, back, and hip from a nasty car accident 25 years ago she said it was so increibly easy to get in and out of it with no pain! she was in love with the close assist for the doors and trunk and could not beleve that a car could be so quiet on the freeway inside.
my friend who likes toyotas stretched out in the back, loved the ride it had and was impressed with how quiet it was inside. of course, i had to show off the close assist, and the roll up windows by the key.

others also made comments...generally the same as above. amazing how a 15 year old car impresses people that own newer cars!

Yep, its amazing how these vehicles are so superb, but yet over looked by most people because they see them as "old cars"

I dont mind them, I would much rather drive my "old school benz" and enjoy yesterdays presidential luxury, rather than todays disposable grabage.

Our cars were built to last, all these new releases are built spend half their lives in the stealership workshops..

Also, the close assist feature amazed me when I first saw it on S55 AMG W220.

When I bought my S320, it was such a PLEASANT surprise that my car was packed with this feature! Hahahaha, besides having to pull the fuse to reset the pump occasionally, I love that feature.. (Its good for the ladies, because lets face it each door is EXTREMELY heavy lol)

I remember I had be wedding car driver using my C140.
During driving with little love song, I see couple is sleeping
I'm proud of this, this means quiet, comfort.

Congratulations to you & your future to be wife , i bet ya that little mersaysay must be verry happy ,not only about the wedding but that he will be a Mercedes Benz driver for sure ,maybe in a well stored W140 eh ,lol.

I get that kind of stuff all the time when people come for a ride in the car , they are not used to the luxury of the self closing doors and the ride overall , you need to remind them all the time not to slam the door.
