Sorry but I don't have a pic but I'm going to play anyway, so there. :crybaby2:

I still remember one for the neighborhood, when we lived in Europe in the mid 80's. It was a 107 280SL with that silvery green metallic, think they called it "Thistle Green" with a bright red interior. Never could get up the nerve to ask the people "What The Hell were You Thinking".

I remember one at the MB dealer 20 years ago. It was all white. White tires, white bumpers, white grill totally white interior.

I wonder what he did for a living.

Somewhere here is a link to a 107 that was painted Barbie pink, had the fins from a 59 Cadillac welded on and leopard spot upholstery. That car will always win ugliest 107.

Are you sure it wasn't green. Thats the one that goes with nobbys new shoes. I did see a hot pink one somewhere on this forum.
Maybe I'm confusing two truly ugly 107s. Yeah, that was the one with the fins.

Disabled French Char B1 tank No. 107, "Reims." According to the reference book, Les Chars B, by Pascal Danjou, this tank was scuttled and abandoned on June 17, 1940. The book features a similar photo of this tank at the same location. However, a pencil notation on the back of my photo has the date "12.6" (June 12).

Actually I think pastels were popular back in the 1970s I always see diesels painted that color along with a light beige, but it just represent the popular colors for the time. Along with the light blue and even signal red, I think all nonmetallic paints were pastels. As for the interior, it really messes up the combination. I'm not an artist but there is a clash between the red and the butterscotch and not in a good way. What color would fit that butterscotch and look decent? Maybe a light red, or light orange, or even a light beige parchment. Maybe either a black or brown interior would work, but that red is ugly, too bad the guy can't trade his interior for someone elses, the red would look nice in a white car.

If you had that car in colorado you probably wouldn't care what it looked like, especially after they salt the road.
