Sorry, bboybaroo. She gave up a lot of parts...

That chunk of metal you see fall out is a a 4 cylinder block for a Jeep that I threw onto the trailer. Well, lifted and dumped with a backhoe, anyway.

I woulda paid that much for the rocker panels... I don't see any rust.

12,100lbs in, 9,160lbs out at the scales. 2940lbs for the body, an m110, and that Jeep block. The trans, driveline, interior, front 15 inches of body, wheels and many many bits were removed.

I don't know about MA, but rust-free rocker panels are not that hard to find out here. Rust-free wheel wells are a little harder to come by.

This car had rust behind the front wheels, but that was about it.

Hence, removal of the front fenders, hood, trunk lid and other parts for my project car (see link in my signature).

I like that one. Good post.

What would a 1983 280E come back as today? E350? E550? Perhaps a 230 would come back as the 350. It's a big leap no matter how you slice it.

Definitely something starting with "E".
