My e55 motor swap idea's out the door now. :D

Would I be lynched on the group if I S/C'd out an original w126 AMG, instead of keeping it stock?

I would likely do this on the 2nd w126 AMG (the $500 euro 500SEC), NOT the DaveD car.

My God! Not only is the horsepower incredible, that torque range is unbelievable. Got to findout more info on the process. Parts, fabrications needed, etc. Wonder if that can be done to a M104 24v six.

There is was a post here recently about 350 NA hp from an intake, exhaust, and EFI. I can't find the post, but I thought it was from Timsecwide.

There's been a 400hp turbo M104 on the For Sale forum for a while. Big bucks... It looks like two small turbos would tuck up next to the engine nicely.

About a year or 2 ago... Talbir posted info on a TurboTechnic's full turbo (for the M104) set up with exhaust for only 1000 GbP. It was available through a dealership in the UK... do a search and you'll find the post with contact info. May be long gone since as it was a great deal.

Dimm, you're right. The way the exhaust is set up on the 124 there looks to be plenty of room to do just about anything you want. Maybe even a small nuclear reactor.
Snibble, I'll try to find the thread...
