hi, have had some problems whit my 1996 220d for some time now and think its time to just try changing the k40 relay module, since it cost's well over 250 bucks for a new one i thought about trying a used one from the scrap dealer, but they only had the module with this number : a210540 04 72 and the one i have in my car is a210540 03 72, they look the same but there is a extra pin on the 04 relay, but this is on a separate connector.

Forget about the scrap yard part----keep looking as 210 540 04 72 is a Halter; 03 72 is your relay. I can by that part for 90 USD...
