Now that's a car! Nice color combo too, looks well taken care of. You're gonna love it.

Thanks! I currently have a 1985 300D. I don't know if I want to part with her! Thinking of keeping both - best of both worlds.

Looks like you were in the same situation.

I have been thinking about selling my 300SD for about a year now so I can get my hands on a 400E/E420.

How do you like it so far? How much did you pay? What kind of mileage on the car? Any issues so far?

I am getting closer and closer to selling. Haven't totally convinced myself yet.

I'm still waiting for delivery. I bought it for $8,500.

I just sold my 85 300D on eBay. Can get good money for diesels on there.

What are the specs on your 300SD?

1985 300SD (ex-CA car) I bought it with 238,000 on the clock. It now registers 301,000. I have never driven the car in winter. Unbelieveable service records. Dealer serviced in CA up to 110,000 miles. Have records after that but by an indy. very well maintained.
Euro headlight conversion as well as 16" upgrade wheels and tires.
I converted the intake/exhuast manifold to federal specs as well as shitcanned the EGR.
Also installed Boost controller and boost guage.

Runs better than your average 300SD!

watch out for wiring harness's and the "gas actuator slide" (quoting the EPC). I've sold LOTS of each for this car.

Those seem to be the two biggest weak points.
