Im trying to find out what these temperature sensors are connected to?
its euro 500sl 117.973... 1985

i was looking for a sensor that effects the warm up regulator. But its difficult to trace the loom around the engine bay.

Tried to zoom in to get a closed look, are you sure these are temperature sensors?

Have attached an overview of the control systems for a 500, both vacuum and electrical that may help.

ok so with a bit of investigation;

number 1; on the photo seems to be the 42° temperature switch (labeled 20 on the schematic) wires; yellow/ black + blue /black.

number 2; seems to be the cold start time temp switch (labelled 99 on the schematic) there are 3 wires coming from it ( brown/blue, pink/ blue, purple,yellow).
