Now that the warmer weather is in Ct.I've noticed my temp gauge that hovers a click or two above 80 rizes to 100 when the car is idleing with the a/c on. I have a new radiator, hoses, and fan clutch $$$$. not sure the thermostat was changed at the same time. My wifes volvo 960 thermostat stays in the same spot no matter the situation. I know the stats allow for a higher range before overheat and the electric fan will cut in so it does not overheat, but for the other 2.6 engines out there does your temp guage creep as much? Thanks.

Yup, mine does, and it's perfectly normal. Electric fan cuts in at 103 c as it should, no problems at all, even with AC on. And I live in Saudi Arabia, and it's already over 40 c outside! Not to worry.
