I've noticed the US version of the SL500 has a blank TV button. <br> <br> Is this an option or upgrade that will be offered later or once the car is at the dealership?<br> <br> -Chris

In a similar vein, for a RHD drive version, the right hand pop-out cup-holder is a dummy because it fouls with the indicator stalk.

Ah. that explains it. Although putting drinks in those high up cupholders seems like a sure way of getting sticky drink in the COMAND or other expensive switch gear ...

TV button option

The tv has been deactivated, this can be reprogrammed in the box that carries the tuner. I will do research and let you know.

You can add a video digital input and tv tuner!

You can add a video digital input to the command system. There is a problem with the tv tuner since weak signaks cause the screen to loose image.
You can add the tv tuner function, which is activated by the stardiagnosis computer at your dealer, which pretty much is illegal in the US.
There are many ways to go around this, all depend on your budget!
