which technical manuals for a 123 would be good?
I've got an 1983 300D-t. Would an MB factory manual for the W123 pubblished in 1982 be very usefull?

cd manuals

I guess I'll answer my own question. Since they started producing the 300D-t in 1982 I'm assuming a manual published in 1982 will work for my 83.
I found a source for cd manuals any comments on those?
I'll probably get the factory manuals as I doubt I can go wrong havong those.

The CD's are best. Haynes is a distant second. But at under $20 can be handy for basic jobs and getting stats.

CD's are a little over $100 new. Sometimes turn up on Ebay cheaper. But many ebay cd's are copies. Paid almost $40 for what turned out to be an imperfect 201
copy and got a 114/115 genuine used CD for under $30.

I personally prefer the old paper and print manuals as long as they're the factory issued shop manuals. I have a CD manual for my W123 and I don't like to have turn on my computer every time I need to look something up. Sure you can print the pages so you'll never get a book dirty but you need to research your repair thoroughly. The CD manual regularly refers you to other sections for other components that you may need to remove in the process. Also the CD pictures are not very good even if you have the best printer.

Hi,
Just bought a 300DT (136k miles) and would like to know where to get a CD manual for the car.

TIA
