To the benzworld faithful,

Thankfully, it's that time of the year to take my baby out of storage. I'm not getting to crazy but, I do want to change the plugs and filters (airbox,air/heating cabin). Throw on my Matson anti zap and clear out all protection I used to keep the pests and rodents out. I have the stereo code and printed out the relearn info. I'm pretty much good to go.
I have not done the plugs on my car yet as it has only 50k or so on the car and current plugs...Do I NEED to change the coil packs along with the plugs? Do I NEED to change the wires too as with all the other cars that I've owned? Alot of the time you pretty much wreck the wires taking them off and usually are need to be replaced. I did do some searching and it seems that there really aren't wires..I'm kind of confused due to the fact that it seems they dont exist? Or not much mentioning of changing them. I allways do most of the work on my cars so, Yes I am a good with the wrench's and problem solving. Can someone elaborate on this so I don't open the nasty can of worms as my car is stored in my GF's parents garge and auto parts stores aren't exactly everywhere near the CT coast that I know about.
Any other recommendations that I should do or look for would be greatly appreciated.

Next project is the stereo system once I take some measurements and figure out a couple thoughts with the car in front of me. Nothing too crazy (hearing like three blocks away shaking the car next to you) but definate upgrade. I am determined to fit a custom sub box behind the passenger side seat backing with a shallow mount sub box so that you wont know its there. It CAN happen. It just needs to be thought out correctly and you need to use the right gear and take your time. The newer Kicker shallow mount only requires like 4" of depth of the 8" 200 watts RMS. I can work with that. I will post pics of the install when I figure it all out in the next couple weeks.

Thank You, ahead of time for any answers!!!

I would just trun it over a few times, and see how it runs before touching any engine parts.
Coils and wires should be OK untill they fai, that part of preventive maint is your call, depends on $$$ you want to spend.

I would just change oils in 1st week
