I really want to update the look of my taillights but im not too crazy about haveing to shave a bit of my trunk and all to be able to fit 95+ light assemblies. So has anyone outthere ever heard of or seen rear taillights for a 92-94 just coated with a different color scheme. Like instead of all read with some amber inlay, just red and white like the last W140's withough changing the shape of the light?

Does everyone get me or is my expanation not very clear? let me know guys thanks!

I didnt think it would be too complicated but then i read somewhere that the new lenses might not line up with the old socket arrangement. Is this as easy to fix as buying the entire assembly including socket placements and then just plug in the new wiring?
