i have read on diesel giants page that it is taboo to bypass the switchover valve en route to the alda. when i got my car this had already been done. he says this is the last line of defense from an overboost catostrophe. is that in case the wastegate failed? and full exhaust gases were passed by turbo? anyway, mine must be jacked up because it is bypassed. do we all agree? where can this part be purchased if it is necc? what do you guys think? my car runs great. i think. i only have mine as an example. maybe it could run better with this device. i did have to adjust the alda a while back. man, what a difference, and i only turned it 1/2 ccw. i guess i could go more, but it was my first time.
