I bought a 1998 ML320 and there a switch on the drivers side of the console that looks like a light of some sort? its blow the low range switch. It has what looks like headlight and it said Auxiliary? Anyone know what it controls? I didnt receive an owners manual with it.

It's probably your fog lamp switch.

It activates your fog lamps IF you have that option on your truck.

Whatever you do do not touch that switch. It activates the passenger ejection seat.

Well either that or FAR888 is correct. Top portion of switch is for front fog lights that are built into the 98ML's headlights and the lower position turns on both the front and rear fog lights. If you install the bulbs in the front and they do not work you may have to get the AAM programmed by the dealer. The front fogs are the lights closest to the center of the vehicle insie the headlight fixture.

Mike, do you have the P/N for that system?

It would be dead handy for me, I'd really like to get one installed. :thumbsup:
