The wheels aren't even stock.... and Front emblem is wrong, it usually was deleted and looks like the grill wasn't painted but can't quite tell from this Angle. I mean its possible to get that much for the car from a Oil Prince. If it was perfect I think you could get the original purchase price from a fanatic (if I won the lottery I would pay that much). But I would require certification, original docs, purchase sheet. Basically the whole 9 yards.
It certainly will be interesting to see how that one goes. I am guessing he will be somewhat disappointed.
And I agree that the wheels don't look like generation correct aeros. Might just be the light. And the corner lights certainly are wrong. Gotta wonder what else has been modified?
This isn't the car with microsuede headliner is it?
You must be thinking of the guy with the 300CE that had the $10K interior up-grade! Bad paint on the bumpers etc. etc. He was in the Denver area.. Apparently very close to having his head in the clouds.
$975,000?????????????? Is this guy crazy or what??? For that money I'd buy a 300SL gullwing and a couple of other cars. I bet the gullwing would be more expensive in 20 years time than this piece of w124 crap.
Oh, I wouldn't say its a "piece of crap", but a car with a value in the mid 20's at best. Collectors couldn't give a rats ass about the W124 chassis though, someone with a mil to spend, would be looking at Ferrari's and Dusi's, thats for sure.
