before i get headers, i am thinking about the upgrade that you got.

the supersprint x pipe. seems like a good cheap mod for more sound from the exhaust.

are you using the one for the SL55? cuz thats the only one i saw on their website. or is there a specific one designed for the SLK55?

also how long did the installation take, and did the exhaust get louder and meaner?? (definately want a meaner exhaust).

any info would be appreciated!

I would just like to say that you will LOVE IT!!!. Ive retained the stock look by adding Kleemann 3" 200 cell primary sport catalytics and the SuperSprint X pipe in which I still have my original oem //// /AMG Mufflers.

With the upgrades your thinking of it will def be a more faster and responsive SLK.

I didnt install it my self, I took it to a SuperSprint dealer and they installed it.
The X pipe is for the SLK55 and not the one from the SL55 as you said.

i dont know of any dealers for supersprint in my area. the closest one is probably hundreds of miles away. i'm gonna see if lucent motors will do it for me. i was asking about installation time because i dont want any of my mods to be an overnight job.

X pipe is for sure have to be welded on, another viable way is to fabricate connecting hooks or extensions.

Now think of it this way with the Headers,Ecu upgrade, Xpipe and Green filters you will be looking at 395-405hp.
