Someone has probably asked this here before, 1998 230 slk,if i floor the throttle, the super charger cuts out and wont reset till i restart.
I have tried cleaning the maf with brake fluid cleaner also cellulose thinners.
If i accellerate slowly ,ie; follow the supercharger slowly , i can keep it spinning, but kick down stops it.
Just reving the motor does not stop it, only when under load.
Brill car, had it for years!!

It could be that you need a new MAF.

If there is alot of oil contamination in the intake track, you MAF is ruined. You also probably have a failed oil seperator. Cleaning MAF sensor isn't really a fix for a bad one by the way. And is there a possibility of a leak in the intake track somewhere causing a drop in boost pressure under load?
